This 3d street painting in called: Virtual Transition. This optical illusion or so called anamorpic painting is especially made for the RAW EXPO in Rotterdam. The 3d street art piece measures about 45 square meters. More than 60 international galleries and individual artists present their artwork in the Fenix Building. Participating artists include Armando, Atelier Van Lieshout, Pjotr Müller, Tinkebell, Frank Bruggeman, Birgit Verwer, Jolanda Jansen en Leon Keer. The sculptures and installations are curated by Piet de Jonge, Ruth Horstmanshoff en Teodora Kotseva.

The design was made in chalk to honor the landmarks of the 7 emirates during their ‘National Day’. You can see the columns of the Grand Mosque, the Burj Khalifa and some elements of Sharjah’s Souk Al Markazi. The 3d streetpainting was made in 2011 on the Corniche of Abu Dhabi. In the anamorphic drawing you can see the spirit of the union represented by 7 landmarks of the UAE.

At least 200 chalk artsists where present during the chalkfestival at Burns Square. The 3d Lego Terracotta Army anamorphic painting measured about 100 square meters and was created to support the release of Ego Leonard.

The 3d painting was made during the first 3d street art event in The Netherlands. To start the new cultural season of Lelystad in total 9 anamorphic streetpaintings were made in and around Lelystad on the pavement by several International madonnari. With Tony Cuboliquido, Melanie Stimmell Van Latum, Juandrés Vera, Gregor Wosik, Marion Ruthardt, Remko van Schaik, Ruben Poncia and Leon Keer.
